I hate romantic comedies. Every single one of them follows the same damned plot (either OH BOY WE HATE EACH OTHER SO MUCH BUT SECRETLY WANT EACH OTHER ISN’T THAT HILARIOUS WATCH AS WE BUTT HEADS or WE LOVE EACH OTHER BUT OUR WACKY FAMILY/NEIGHBOR/THE MOON IS IN OUR WAYS WATCH AS WE BUTT HEADS WITH IT) and the jokes are the same in each. This movie was recommended to me repeatedly, from Grandmothers to Teenagers. So, I thought, OH WELL I CAN SEE IT FOR FREE WHY THE HELL NOT.
Oh why the hell not indeed. SEE IT’S FUNNY BECAUSE HER FAMILY IS ETHNIC AND SO SEE WHITE PEOPLE DO THINGS LIKE THIS BUT GREEK PEOPLE DO THINGS LIKE THIS ISN’T THAT AMAZING AND INSIGHTFUL AND HILARIOUS?!?! SEE GREEK PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT AND THAT IS FUNNY! IT’S FUNNY BECAUSE THEY ARE DIFFERENT LIKE MOST ETHNIC PEOPLE HURLRHGLHGH INSERT JOKE COCK HERE TO BE CUT OFF BECAUSE THERE AIN’T ANY COMEDY JIZZ COMING OUT TONIGHT.
So in other words I didn’t really like the movie.
